Behav­ioral prob­lems are symp­toms of dis­obe­di­ence. Get­ting rid of those prob­lems is eas­ier than you think. We offer in stu­dio or in home basic obe­di­ence train­ing for you and your dog. Each course con­sists of 7 pri­vate lessons. If you are look­ing for puppy train­ing, please see our Puppy Kinder­garten class.

Each les­son is 1 hour in length, teach­ing you and your dog on-leash com­mands, and responses to basic orders:

Enroll­ment in the Basic Obe­di­ence course also qual­i­fies you for an exclu­sive 6 ft. thump loop leather Woof Woof leash, and 6 passes to our Basic Obe­di­ence Work­shops. These work­shops are designed to help dogs and their own­ers take what they have learned in their pri­vate lessons, and now prac­tice around dis­trac­tions. Classes meet on Sat­ur­days, and reser­va­tions are requested. Dogs must be peo­ple and dog friendly to participate.

All dogs must be at least 4 months old and be cur­rent on all shots, includ­ing ken­nel cough. You are required to have your dog on a 6 ft. leash at all times. You may use a chain or nylon train­ing col­lar, or a Gen­tle Leader. How­ever, pinch col­lars are not accept­able for train­ing. Please arrive 5 min­utes before the start of your les­son.
